I want Swift 3D v4 so badly.

I bought a new comics anthology called Flight. It’s good stuff. A lot of the artists are local (some even use the same comic shop as me) so hopefully I can work with them one day. They are talented folks. I hope I have the skills to hang.

On the downside,
my mother tells me my parent’s property in Florida may have been demolished by Hurricane Ivan. They don’t know yet because the bridge linking the island to the mainland is missing a 1/4 mile chunk. There is no telling how long it will be before they can get there to find out.

Pepperidge Farm cookies kick ass. Mrs. Fields actually makes the best cookies, but I just had a really good experience with a pack of Pepperidge Farm white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. I took the fourth and last cookie out of the bag to eat it when I noticed the bag still felt somewhat heavy. I lifted the plastic insert and BAM four more fucking cookies! This is one of the best days of my life.

Are you hip? Happening? Hot?

Then come to Latino Fest this Saturday and watch Moodoo Puppets (that’s me and Mike) perform “The Mystery of the Pirate’s Tattoo.” What is it about? A little girl must travel deep into space in hopes of finding a cure for her cursed tattoo. We should be on around 11:00am, but that time is quite tentative.

I’ve been in my new apartment for a week now. It’s good. I finally have a separate room to use as an office/studio. No more drawing in the den for me. DSL finally transferred to my new number today. So, I am back in the world of broadband access. I installed a free trial of aol so I could check email while I waited on DSL. Holy crap, trying to cancel service with them is like trying to leave some shady cult. I made sure to uninstall it right away after completing the call. The computer still feels dirty.

Videogame Vixens to Pose in Playboy

In the October issue of PLAYBOY, videogame vixens from a host of popular games will appear nude as part of an article on the changing face of gaming, reports CNN. Set to be part of the spread will be butt-kicking heroines from Majesco’s BLOODRAYNE, Midway’s MORTAL KOMBAT, Namco’s TEKKEN, Vivendi’s upcoming RED NINJA and LEISURE SUIT LARRY: MAGNA CUM LAUDE and Sammy Studios’ forthcoming DARKWATCH: CURSE OF THE WEST.

“Majesco thought it was all in good fun,” said Laura Heeb, a spokesperson for the BLOODRAYNE publisher. “The game’s coming out that month and it’s perfect timing. BLOODRAYNE is a very viable franchise now. It has definitely made the step up to a full-fledged video game franchise. The Playboy thing is nothing more than just another cool thing we can do with this franchise.”

PLAYBOY itself will be venturing into the gaming industry later this year with PLAYBOY: THE MANSION. Groove Games and ARUSH Ent. are publishing the game, which is being produced by Cyberlore Studios. The game will put the player into the virtual slippers of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, building PLAYBOY MAGAZINE and the Playboy mansion into dynamic cultural icons.
