I received good news today. Cartoon Network is looking for Flash animators for Craig McCracken’s new show, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. I sent a resume and portfolio about a week ago. Today I received an email asking that I come by the studio to take an animation test. While this does not mean I will be hired, it does mean the reviewers at least saw enough promise to contact me. I have submitted portfolios to CN on three or more occasions and this is the only time I have received any response other than “come pick up your portfolio.” Let’s hope it works out.
